The Optronics LED RV Exterior Scene Light - Submersible part # UCL41CB is a surface mount light that installs using the two mounting holes in the flanges on either side of the light. The distance between the mounting holes is 7.87" and the overall dimensions of the light are 8-3/4" long x 3" tall x 1-1/2" deep so you would want to make sure you have space to install the light and possibly not have to drill new holes depending on if you had existing lights in that spot.

You're correct that the Furrion Ducted RV Range Hood with Light # FHO23SACRBL rear vent is only 5-7/8" long x 3-1/4" tall, whereas our vents are all larger at 10-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" tall. Typically there will be some insulation in the wall only allowing for a small bit of room for air to escape from the range hood and out the exterior vent. The LED "bulbs" are made for replacing many popular standard incandescent bulbs; this one replaces an 1156 bulb type like # DI49VR which is fairly common in RV aplications.
